Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Hurricane Teen! Happy Birthday to you! As much as I would not want to be 17 years old again, neither would I want to be 35 again either. Enjoy the age you are in! It will get better in time. I'm glad you were born. I know you will have a lot to contribute to our world to make it a better place.

Happy Birthday!!! (a day late)

Age is a state of mind. As long as always remember to have fun and laugh and not take yourself too seriously, you'll be young forever ;) Take it from a 41 year old teenager...I know these things. hahaha!!!

Hope you had a great day :)

From a guy turning 34 next weekend- (and I agree with swampangel65) you're only as old as you think you are.
Happy Birthday, Hurricane! Skip the homework and enjoy the day.
Tell your teachers I gave you a free hw pass. :)
Peace,
V

OH man. Sorry I am so late wishing you a happy birthday! But at least I have an excuse, I'm off at the county fair with a cow, and Thursday was rodeo day, so I was over til almost 11 with that, then Friday was show day and E-Drive concert night, Saturday my buddies came over, and Sunday was the truck pull. I never got home before 10:30, and haven't been on the net much. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY a wee bit late!!

Hurricane teen, I was at Black creek outfitters asking a guy there if he knew of any big trees in the area. He told me about the tree at the Durbin creek bridge.I climb trees using ropes. I went there this morning and climbed that wonderful tree. You can see pictures of the climb at www.treeclimbercoation.org. I post there under the name Hunabku and should have some photos posted under the thread "The search for ancient cypress" in the climbing adventues area of the canopy chatter section. You should check it out.

I share your love for nature. The area around that tree is in bad shape. A lot of dumping is going on there and I even hauled out a 25 pound bag of herbacide somone had dumped along the dirt road to the creek. What a shame. When I got home I googled "Bartram canoe trail, Durbin creek" and found your site. What a trip to see your teacher standing next to the tree I had just climbed a few hours earlier.

Even weirder, I was born on August 30, 1973. So happy birthday to us both.

Check out the tree climbing site, I think it might be right up your alley. Also on that site in the articles page is a story about some ancient cypress on Lewis Island up in Georgia. We paddled to them and climbed them too. They are real big like the one on Durbin.

Happy Bday my Native Florida Friend. 17 and got the getting old blues do you? Well now that I hit the big 40 this past summer, I can tell you the best years are just ahead of you and enjoy the heck out of them. BTW you and my oldest daughter share almost the same bday, her's is the 29th. She was 11.

Yours in the Bond

Hope you had a wonderful birthday! It never fails... the minute I stop checking regularly, something happens. Your b'day is the day after mine. I just had my birthday dinner yesterday. Nothing like dragging it out.

You still have your second childhood to look forward to. It can be even better than the first.

Hey Minorcan Factor - I'm a fellow Minorcan tracing my heritage back to 1565. I live in St. Augustine, work in Jax. I'm involved in Dunns Creek State Park - it's a new park they haven't opened full time yet. We have Open Houses twice a year to get the public out to see it. I bet it would be something you're interested in and I'd love for you to come out. The Open House is Saturday, Oct. 13. The park in in southern Putnam County (Pomona Park). I have a flyer I'd love to send to you, but I'm not too computer savvy and not sure I would know how to do it w/o knowing your e-mail address.
Mine is jmcclellan@joe.com - please contact me - I'd love for you to see this place - -
