Datil Daze and Homework Craze

AS BUSY AS ALL GET-OUT AND YOU WILL SOON FIND OUT WHY...

In the meantime, here's the bit of humor for this week:

http://www.bostonherald.com/news/regional/general/view.bg?articleid=1047241

Apparently, Massachusetts lawmakers are debating a ban on "spanking" in their increasingly-crazy jurisdiction. Wow.

I was on the receiving end of some good licks as a child, and I can't remember a time when I didn't deserve it. My children will receive the same...As long as too many crazed Massachusetts residents don't relocate here and outlaw it 8-0

*Disclaimer*: This is not to suggest that ALL Massachusetts residents are crazed, but apparently there are enough of them to cause this kind of stir. We don't want to hurt any feelings here on The Minorcan Factor.

I survived some good swats too...it can be character building!

threecolle - It IS character building; that's why it needs to be legal.

I agree with my momma.

And just think, you don't have to live in close proximity to that darned bunch of nut jobs. Though I think it is just the ones in power that are crazy. I have a ton of friends from Mass that are wonderful.

paint - Thank God.....And to think I once considered attending MIT!
I know some good people from Massachusetts, too, but who elects those crazy politicians?

You should come to CObleskill. ON second thought, for the sake of your sanity, don't. And I think it is the loopy city people

Well, I could definitely visit The North if it was in a rural area. My brother went to school in Latrobe, PA, and it's truly some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. Their natural areas don't come close to Florida, but their rural vistas are breathtaking. I could definitely visit, but for no longer than a week or maybe two...I get homesick really fast, as you probably know.

lol. It doesn't get much more rural than Cobleskill and our two counties!

ugh! Don't even get me started. When you think about it, it shouldn't be too surprising comeing from a state that keeps a murderer in office all these decades. OK, alleged murderer... who just happens to have a big name and lots of money.

stepping off soapbox before my good mood vanishes

Gorgeous day! Hope you've been out in the swamp or some equally wondermous place. 8-]

sophie - Amen also about the murderer in office. I simply can't stand that man. He is truly off the wall.
*stepping off my soapbox even though it seems like I am eternally on it*
YES! GORGEOUS COUPLE OF DAYS! MY FRIEND(S) AND I ARE MAKING TENTATIVE PLANS TO MAKE IT BACK OUT TO THE SWAMP SOON!
