To my astonishment, the art community has not accepted my concept of the Linear Dog, but I know that, with time, they will come to realize its genius.
I drew this on my Puerto Rican roommate, JJ's, dry erase board Sunday night. I am making a genuine attempt to learn Spanish, but sometimes I have to resort to this phrase and "Lucy you got some splainin' to do" to get me through everyday conversations.

When all else fails, just remember the crucial 'yo quiero taco bell'. 8-]
Good to see you posting again. Way cool about the Mayfield email! Take that tour of the NHC. Duller has done all that stuff and has some great memories and made some wonderful friends.
You are such a strange guy sometimes...but so fun and funny
sophie - Nice to hear from you again! I do use the "yo quiero taco bell" when I talk to JJ's Puerto Rican friends over the internet. It's quite funny.
paint - I'm not responding on here :-D I hear that a lot.
The linear dog...maybe if you added 2 more legs, it would become more accepted. But then, that is infringing on your creativity, so nevermind.
I have learned all of my Spanish through store front signs..Juego aqui (Play Here! (lottery)). Cervesa, pan con bistec. I can also count to ten and cuss you out in Spanish. Living in Miami, I find I can actually get by just find.
Hey stop by my blog. You won an award! Cathy S.
swamp - HA HA! Yeah, those are the popular phrases down there in miami, I am sure.
island - Thank you so very much! I stopped by your blog about a week ago and was impressed by what I saw. Thanks for the recognition and thanks for providing some inspiration!
