uh oh. did you guys get into trouble? I'll bet they thought you were being to loud. Though that probably isn't why they taped off your car and campsite.
sophie - Nope, though someone usually does have a problem with bees there. I believe they ran the generators all night because it was cold. But I still don't know why they needed to, because there were hundreds of us camping in tents. We did just fine in the cold!
I'm a devout Catholic who is learning to feel God's presence in everything I do throughout my daily life.
A PhD student in Atmospheric Science at The University at Albany-SUNY, I am a weather/science/math geek, and I'm especially geeky about hurricanes.
Also, I'm a 9th generation native Floridian of Minorcan descent. I love nature, animals, and anything about Florida history or culture.
That's me in a nutshell.

Because there were no cars in 1864?
paint - too loud? You ought to hear the cannons...and the RV's generators running all night long.
sophie - Aye, you are correct, ma'am. But no, I must say that is not why they taped off our car!
Bees in your tailpipe?
I'm really intrigued now.
Do tell.
I thought the generators were supposed to be turned off at night. Did they waive that rule coz it was freezing?

I hope it wasn't something bad, like your stuff being pilfered during the night or while you were away from the site.
To separate the tourons from the reenactorons?
Duck crossing?
Because a "gopher" (yum...yum) crawled under your car?
